Real Voice of India - REVOI.IN

‘Revoi’ quickly got stuck in our psyche, and everyone was in love with the name since it got suggested by Tejas Gusani.

But we had to make sure everyone can pronounce it properly, So we called my dadi, my mom, client’s relatives, my friends, few likable relatives & few industry friends to say the word “Revoi” just to confirm if they pick the name at very first go, and if they do, can they recall?

And if they recall, what do they feel about the name?

All of the answers were in the favor of the name “Revoi” and that’s when we knew, we’ve found a Great Brand Name…

Challenges

Identify The Audience Persona...

  • 45 to 65 years old
  • 18 to 24 Years old
  • 25 to 35 Years old

We were focused on aiming at the audience who would want to listen to the real voice, and not the noise. They are The bureaucrats, the white-collars, people who are intellectual and well aware of the political & economical environment, the social activists/influencers and people who actively consume news throughout the day on Digital Networks.

This is the kind of audience who would want to know the Real Voice of India, who would want to consume our news content and has the potential to endorse our news by sharing it to their digital networks.

Identifying the Audience Persona also helped Revoi to map their news categories according to the audience’s interest which later got higher engagement / dwell times on the news article.

With clarity over audience persona,

Greate News Experience Became Our Priority!

the background colour of the news article’s web page opted to be light grey, which matches the newspaper’s grey colour.

We prioritised the Use of ‘Thumb Only’ so that users swipe the news in any category.

Added the ‘progress scroll bar’ which indicates users about the progress on the news article.

Appealing News Tiles with News title and featured news image in the background, this helps in getting better CTR.
